The Internet is full of websites and advertisements for companies who promise you a mortgage offer. They start you filling out some basic information. They lead you on. Then they ask for your contact information. They say that they will get back to you. Then they sell you as a lead to someone else. You never know the difference. You never know who you are dealing with.

Home mortgage lending is a federally regulated business. You can only be offered a mortgage by a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator. Not by your realtor, not by your lawyer, not by your bank. All mortgages are offered by a licensed MLO who must be a natural person. Not a company or a bank. He must work for and be sponsored by a lender. All loan originators  make the same loans. The only difference is the costs that are passed on by their sponsor. The cost to you. 

You can not get a mortgage by giving basic information on the internet. That is BULL and a sham. Underwriting a mortgage loan is a detailed and complex process. It takes knowledge and experience to fit your needs to a loan program.
